About me:
My partner and I have been vegetarian for since the fall of 2002, so options for eating out have become a lot more limited (not that there aren't a couple of great places in town that are veggie friendly). Plus, I definitely get a lot of satisfaction from cooking a tasty meal for my friends.

Spaghetti Carbonara II

Reviewed on Aug. 27, 2008 by MMOH
For once I followed a recipe without tweaking. I really enjoyed this, and am glad that I made it. My husband would have liked it better "without the onions, the wine, and the eggs". He's hopeless. I'll be making this again, I'll just have to wait for when my husband is in the field.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed on Aug. 26, 2008 by MMOH
Made this last night for dinner, and I'm so glad that I did. Definitely make sure you cut the meat and then let it soak in the juice before serving. I added some black pepper, garlic and worcestershire sauce. These are really good with melted provolone. Can't wait to have them again.

Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers

Reviewed on Aug. 17, 2008 by MMOH
My husband and I really enjoyed these. He said that he liked them, but he refused to consider them burgers LOL. I'll make them again, it's nice to finally find a turkey burger recipe that isn't dry and has flavor!
