About me:
Having the opportunity to travel in work, I have been able to sample many different cusines. Everything from grits and greens (pronounced gahretts and granes)to NY deli food and all the subcultures found there. YUM! I still favor seafood from my own native Pacific Northwest--razor clams, salmon, Alaskan king crab, so I try to go home once a year to see my daughter, my sister, and have a few good meals with them.

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

Good, but not great. This did not have good eye appeal. I scaled the recipe to 3 servings, but easily got 5 servings. I had to sub ricotta cheese for the cottage cheese because that is what I had. This may be why it came out

Mom's Baked Beans I

Very tasty! I halved this recipe and baked in a loaf pan. My only addition was 1/4 cup of shredded pork. Topped with 2 strips of bacon before cooking.

Irene's Barbeque Sauce

Reviewed on Jul. 3, 2008 by GodivaGirl
This was good with additions for my family. This was too vinegary and spicy for the kids. Addition of 2 tablespoons of water, 2 tablespoon ketchup, 1 tablespoon dark corn syrup, 1 teaspoon brown sugar. Nice and sweet with a slight heat undertone.
